Understanding genuine revivals
By: Rev'd Tunji, Adepoju
Revivals, one of the charter rights of the church is also one of the most misunderstood. In the prophetic agenda of the almighty; revival is the first step to manifestation and restoration.

One of the most powerful forces in the world is revival. Whenever the Almighty God decides to change history to further the expansion and advancement of His kingdom, He revives the church of God.

Revivals are loved and hated, desired and feared. Genuine revivals which renew great affections for God are greatly needed. Governed by firm biblical principles, we seek after a renewed heart for God.

Some of God's people face secularism's deadly knife; the zeal of others is diluted by polluted waters of materialism. Many are defiled by the aroma of atheism and humanism; yet others bravely risk the waves of persecution.

Notwithstatnding, we all need revival. We all greatly need a great work of God to touch our stony hearts. We long for revival because we long for Him. We cry out for revival because we love the Lord's ways. May God increase His blessing upon the church today that we might carry the news of His amazing grace to the ends of the world.

In this edition of “Trumpet of Revival”, the prophetic mandate for revival was examined, the role of work as ministry was emphasized via an interview with J. Gunnar Olson, founder, International Christian Chamber of Commerce, the role of the media in end time revival was highlighted via an article by Os Hillman, President, Market place leaders and the last command, great commission was elaborated through an article by Dr Les Norman of DCI, United Kingdom.

We prayerfully present the maiden edition of this Holy Ghost vomited publications that it will be a veritable catalyst, factor and activator of revival in the hearts of the readers.

Yours in the school of revival,
Rev Tunji Adepoju
